Here at the Baptist Student Union in Hobbs we serve the student communities of the New Mexico Junior College and University of the Southwest. We are dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through out our local community and the world. We are a fellowship of Christian students and faculty of the local colleges. We are here to serve Christ and you through Him.

As 1Timothy 4:12 states:
"No one should despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." (HCSB)

We are here to be an example and prepare students to become examples as well.
